The "Homebody" Session

To pick flowers with your babies in the garden.

To sit on your front porch and listen to the kids play in the driveway.

To watch you play games at the kitchen table.

To smell the sweet aroma of bread baking and see your children licking the bowl full of cookie dough clean.

To lay in the grass and look at the clouds while the kids run circles around you.

To hear the sweet sound of you singing to your babies while you fold the laundry.

Let's capture the moments that we know will be the good ol' days.

This session is for the homebody. The person who's heart is always home. Take me to the place that tells your story and is filled with the people and things you love most. Where do you create the memories you will never forget and always cherish?

LET'S GO HOME!

These moments, though ordinary felt magical and are engrained into my soul.I know these moments well because they are the moments that I've experienced in my childhood and are now the moments I'm watching my children create. There's nothing quite like them, completely saturating our five senses.I can still hear my grandma calling out to me when I'd walk in the door from school, taste her peanut butter cookies and smell the fresh baked bread in her house. Although, those memories are over 20 years old, they feel like yesterday.I have plenty of memories like this, memories that are important because they helped make me who I am.

What if we could capture these moments in time? Not just keeping these moments in our minds but creating an heirloom for generations to come?
This is all about the stories they will tell.

"There is no place like home."

| Sessions can run anywhere from 1-3 hours. This sounds like a lot but think of it as me coming to hang out with your family capturing real moments.

| We will work together to combine both your favorite things to do with each other and add in some of the beautifully mundane moments to.

| We will start off with a questionnaire. This will help me understand who you are and get a good grasp on the things, places and people that you love most.

| Home isn't always your house. It may be somewhere you're family visits every year. A farm that's been in your family for generations. If you feel stuck don't worry, the questionnaire will help with this.

| We will also discuss outfits, this is an important part of your session. Outfits can either add to your session or can distract. Creating a coordinating color scheme can be beneficial but also having outfits that tell your authentic story.

| I will offer other sessions for those that want to get updated family photos. These sessions will be in select locations and limited availability.
